GIN
- Objective: The primary goal is to form valid sets or sequences of cards in your hand.
- Sequence: Three or more consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., 2-3-4 of Hearts).
- Set: Three or four cards of the same rank but different suits (e.g., 7 of Hearts, 7 of Spades, 7 of Diamonds).
- Jokers: Two jokers are included in the game and can substitute for any card.
Game Setup
- Each player is dealt 10 cards.The dealer places one card face-up on the table as the discard pile. The rest form the draw pile.The player who starts the game receives an additional card (11 cards total).
Gameplay
On their turn, a player must:
- Draw a card from the draw pile or take the top card from the discard pile.
- Discard one card onto the discard pile to end their turn.
- The next player may take the discarded card or draw from the pile.
Special Rules
Ace Rules:
- The Ace can only be used at the low end of a sequence (e.g., A-2-3).
- Sequences like Q-K-A are not allowed.
Winning the Game:
- A player wins when they can arrange all their cards into valid sets or sequences, leaving one card to discard.
Joker Use:
- Jokers can replace any card in a set or sequence. For example, 5-Joker-7 of Clubs counts as a valid sequence.
